I discovered – or rather, my mother discovered – early on that I had a natural ability for drawing and painting and have loved art since I could remember. Art is deeply important to me and a big part of who I am.
“Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.”
― Bruce Lee
I’m self-taught and being born with natural artistic ability hasn’t hurt either. My preferred medium first and foremost is a simple pencil. It’s really quite amazing what you can do with a blank sheet of paper and a pencil. As I’ve grown as an artist, I have moved into painting, colored pencil, mixed and digital mediums.
All of the work on this site was done by me but may have been inspired by something I have seen elsewhere. Art is therapeutic, relaxing and gives me a tremendous sense of pride to step back when I’ve completed something that makes someone say “wow”.
